Need a Coke?

Greetings all,

I was just thinking about how many of us get our focus off the man thing in life. We look at our sin rather that our Savior, We look at others sin instead of our relationship with them. We look for all the blessing that Jesus said we could have but never look at what those blessings will cost us. There is a a saying that this world like to say and I think it’s true. “There is nothing for free”, you say wait Pastor we can have this relationship with Jesus and it’s free. Well, maybe free for us but I think it cost Jesus something! I mean He had to leave His Father in heaven and put on our skin and walk with us. When did we start to think that costing something was not right. I think that is why many “Christians” seem to live a live that is not full of blessings because they are not willing to take on the cost of following Jesus. Jesus even told us the cost in Luke, “As they were traveling on the road someone said to Him, “I will follow You wherever You go!” Jesus told him, “Foxes have dens, and birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay His head.” Then He said to another, “Follow Me.” “Lord,” he said, “first let me go bury my father.” But He told him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and spread the news of the kingdom of God.” Another also said, “I will follow You, Lord, but first let me go and say good-bye to those at my house.” But Jesus said to him, “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9:57-62).” Do we have the right focus? Here is a video that I pray will help you see this point.

Can we see Jesus or not?
