Ask Pastor Jason

AskPastorJasonPaperGreetings all,

I have wanted to write for a while now, but to be honest I just have not had any motivation to do it. So, I haven’t. But as I have been thinking over the last few days, I have had an idea about how to use this blog in a different want and to give me some motivation at the same time. So, here is what God has put on my heart, and we will ask for his favor.

One of the things that I love to do is study and to show others what I am learning. I love to answer questions and to learn about things that I don’t know (that consist of a lot). I would like to use this new blog as a tool to help answer questions that you may have about faith, life and current events, and how the Bible applies to them. I know this could be a huge task, but I also know that it may help you and it will help me at the same time. This blog series will be called “Ask Pastor Jason”.

So, beginning the first of April I will start answering questions. I will be collecting questions during the month of March and will work on those questions. When we reach the end of the question or getting close to the end, I will put out a call for more questions. So, I would like you to send your questions to pastorjason@kingdomcitylighthouse.org, you can Facebook the questions to The Lighthouse Church, or if you want, you can private message The Lighthouse Church. I will try to answer your questions in a timely manner. If you don’t see your question answered, please be patient; it may be that you have stumped me. There is no question too small or too big (although with bigger questions comes bigger answers and the possibility of an “I Don’t Know”).

It is my prayer that at the end of the day this will draw us closer to God and to each other. I am not looking for place of debate! I am just going to answer the questions the best I know how and show you what God has shown me. We need to understand that we can disagree about things and still love and respect each other. I am looking forward to this new adventure as we learn how to be like our Rabbi Jesus. I ask as we walk through this that you will pray for me and that the Holy Spirit will guide me and give me wisdom.

In His Grip,
Pastor Jason
