Women’s Bible Study Begins New Lesson

Beginning, Monday, Sept. 23rd from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. the Women’s Bible Study group will be going through “Believing God” by Beth Moore. They will be meeting in the hospitality room. Workbooks are $15

Family Camp is Sept. 20th-22nd at Hanson Hills Campground!

The Lighthouse Family Camp is set for Sept. 20th-22nd at Hanson Hills Campground at 3643 County Road 221 in Kingdom City.

Join us for fellowship, family fun, games and of course, worship services under the big tent! Please note that worship services will NOT take place at the Church on Sept. 22nd!

Family Camp Schedule of Planned Events:
Friday
6:30 PM
Family Cookout
Hot dogs, chips and s’mores around the campfire. The Lighthouse will provide the food, the table service and water to drink.

Saturday
5:30 PM
Family Fish Fry –
Church provides fish, drinks and bring a main or side dish to share.
6:30 PM
Baptism Service – followed by praise and worship time around the campfire

Sunday
10:30 AM
Worship Service – Worship Services under the big tent!
After Service
Fellowship Lunch – Please bring a main dish AND a side dish OR desert to share. The Lighthouse will provide table service and water to drink.

Hanson Hills campsites range from $15-$28 per night and RVs are available to rent for more. Please call Hanson Hills Campground at 877-642-6060 or 642-8600 to reserve a campsite or RV. Be sure to mention that you are with The Lighthouse Family Camp.

Tickets Now On Sale for Beth Moore Simulcast

Tickets are now on sale for the Living Proof Simulcast, featuring Beth Moore on Saturday, Sept. 14th at The Lighthouse.

Tickets cost $15 in advance and $25 at the door and will include a sandwich lunch. Childcare will not be provided for this event. For tickets, please contact Sheri Phillips or call 573-489-6647. For questions contact Amy Craighead at 573-808-3294 or email her at amyrcraighead@gmail.com.

Red Cross/Lighthouse Blood Drive

The Red Cross is partnering with The Lighthouse on Aug. 23 from 3 p.m.-8 p.m. for a blood drive at the church. We will need volunteers from all age groups to help with the blood drive. We also need people to commit to give blood. Our goal is 30 units of blood which will require us to have 40 donors. The Red Cross is facing a shortage of blood right now, so please tell all of your friends and family to help us save a life by making a donation. New Connection Class Starts July 21st

Brad Goldman is launching a connection class called Christianity 101 & 102 for those interested in finding out the basics of scripture and why we believe what we believe. This class will start at 9 a.m. on July 21st. For those interested, please see Brad at church.

Food Pantry is Collecting Items

The Lighthouse is still collecting food for our food pantry to help meet the needs of individuals and families in our area.

If you would like to donate food or money to the food pantry, please contact Christa Daro or you may place your non-perishable food items in the tub near the front entrance of the church.

Memorial for Atha Eastin

We are collecting money in Atha Eastin’s memory for St. Jude and/or to buy window air conditioning units for the needy. If you desire to give, please mark your check or envelope “Atha’s Memorial” and put it in the offering box at church.

Men’s Fellowship and Mini Retreat Aug. 2 & 3

Men of The Lighthouse you’ll want to mark your calendars for a night of food, fun and fellowship on Aug. 2 and 3 at The Lighthouse main building. Video games, volleyball, other games, movies, music and more are set for this event. Men can bring cots or sleeping bags to stay the night or can go home and come back the next morning for breakfast, bible study and more fun. More details are available soon. All men are welcome to attend!

Lighthouse Apparel Orders Ongoing

Orders for Lighthouse apparel (T-Shirts, hats, sweatshirts, hoodies, etc.) are now being taken beginning the first week of each month.
