Soup and Carols

The Lighthouse’s annual Christmas celebration is Sunday, December 2 at 4 p.m. at the church. Attendees are asked to bring a soup and/or a tray of sandwiches to share. The church will also have an auction to benefit the Ballard family’s medical bills.

If you’d like to donate an item/service to the auction (no junk please) or for more information, post on the event page or contact Paula Briant Kling at pbjkling@gmail.com or 573-220-4384.

Night of Worship

The Lighthouse will be hosting a Night of Worship at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1 at The Lighthouse, featuring a student worship team from International House of Prayer University-Kansas City and Youth With a (Mission Kansas City). Lighthouse Family Camp

Family Camp is our annual celebration of God’s hand in creating our church and His involvement over our families. This three-day celebration at Hanson Hills Campground (3643 County Road 221 in Kingdom City) involves services, cookouts, games and spending time with brothers and sisters of The Lighthouse. We will NOT have services at the church on Sunday, Sept. 23th, service will be at the campground. To reserve a campsite, please call (573) 642-8600.

 

FAMILY CAMP SCHEDULE/EVENTS

Friday Night: Hot Dog Dinner at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday Night: Fish fry at 6 p.m. (Bring a side and/or Dessert); Worship Service will follow at 7 p.m.

Sunday Morning Service, Baptism & Lunch: Church at 10:30 a.m. followed by baptism and lunch (Bring a side and/or desssert, church will be providing the main dish).

REFIT Class at Family Camp
The Friday REFIT excercise class will be held in/near the tent at 11:30 on Friday, Sept. 21. Join us for fitness and fun!

Lighthouse Movie Night: Woodlawn

Friday, April 28th is movie night at The Lighthouse. We will be showing Woodlawn. The Youth Group will provide childcare and a snack bar. All donations and proceeds will go to Lighthouse 180. The youth group will be staying after everyone leaves and will be watching the movie. If you have any questions, please see the Lighthouse 180 staff.

State of The Lighthouse Meeting

Our annual State of the Lighthouse Meeting is Sunday, Feb. 26th after morning services. At this meeting, we discuss the past year and the year to come at The Lighthouse. We’ll have a potluck dinner before the meeting, so bring your favorite dish and/or dessert!

Lighthouse Leadership Conference

The Lighthouse Servant Leadership Conference will be held on three Sundays from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. through January 29th. Who should attend? Everyone can attend, but if you are in any kind of leadership position with the church or would like to be in a leadership position, we ask that you make it a priority to be at all three meetings. Child care will be provided during the meeting, but lunch is on your own after church.

Lighthouse Game Night

The first Lighthouse Family Game Night of the year (that was rescheduled from the ice storm) is Friday, January 27th from 6 -9 p.m. Bring your favorite snack and your favorite game. This is a great opportunity to get to know your Lighthouse family and have some fun and fellowship!

Lighthouse/Red Cross Blood Drive

The Church will hold its annual Red Cross Blood Drive on Friday, Dec. 22 from 3-7 p.m. at The Lighthouse Church at 2848 County Road 147 in Kingdom City. All presenting donors will receive a long-sleeve T-shirt.

Lunch With The Pastor

If you have not had a chance to meet our Pastor Jason Jordon or our church leadership, a “Meet the Pastor” luncheon will be held on Sunday, Nov. 13 after church. Please see Joyce Roberts after church if you are interested in attending.
